About the Author
Lisa Black spent the five happiest years of her life in a morgue. As a forensic scientist in the Cleveland coroner’s office she analyzed gunshot residue on hands and clothing, hairs, fibers, paint, glass, DNA, blood and many other forms of trace evidence, as well as crime scenes. Now she’s a certified latent print examiner and CSI for the Cape Coral Police Department. Her books have been published in Germany, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Japan. Evidence of Murder reached the NYT mass market bestseller’s list.

The Creative Process with authors Phillippe Diederich & Sally Fernandez
About the Authors
Phillippe Diederich is a Haitian-American writer and photographer born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Mexico City and Miami. His first novel, SOFRITO, Cinco Puntos Press 2015, made the L.A. Times list “23 Fiction Books to Read this Summer” and Bookriot’s “6 Small Press Books to Read this Summer.” His short fiction has been published in over a dozen literary journals and won numerous awards including the 2013 Chris O’Malley Fiction Prize from The Madison Review and earned four Pushcart nominations.
Sally Fernandez, a novelist of provocative political thrillers, wasn’t always twisting facts with fiction. Heavily endowed with skills acquired in banking, she embarked on her writing career. Fernandez’ focus on computer technology, business consulting, and project management, enhanced by business and technical writing, proved to be a boon. Her books of fiction also reflect the knowledge garnered from her business experiences, while living in New York City, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.

A prolific author and recording artist, Bill tours nationwide as an author, performing artist and keynote speaker. The first book in his Charlie Bumpers vs. series, “Charlie Bumpers vs. the Teacher of the Year” won the Beverly Cleary Children’s Choice Award.

Writing a Novel with author Don Bruns
About the Author
Don Bruns is a novelist, advertising executive, musician, songwriter, cook and painter who has no idea what he wants to do when he grows up. He’s the author of nine books and was editor of the mystery/music anthology A Merry Band Of Murderers. Don’s published novels cover two series. One, a Caribbean thriller collection and two, the Stuff series, a humorous look at two twenty-four year old guys in South Florida who start their own detective agency and end up neck – deep in trouble. Skip and James from the Stuff series have often been compared to grown up versions of the Hardy Boys.
